Linda Mason

Owner and artist at Linda Mason Designs

Linda Mason's first experience with glass (aside from breaking it) was in taking a class creating stained glass window panels.  She then taught herself the art of lampworking and through her daughter's interests began to explore fiber and the various techniques of fabric creation.
Linda is a life long resident of Warren, PA.  She has studied art from many local and some well known artists like Abe Schwartz, Carla Colosimo, Ruth Levinson, Dick Nelson (Score and Skive), Harriet Johnson (weaver) and gets important feedback and insight from artists Reg Darling and Terry Darling as well as other friends and family.
Linda has studied at the Corning Museum of Glass with Martha Biggar, Loren Stump and Margaret Neher and plans to continue her education at the CMOG.
She is an honors graduate from the Jamestown Business College, black belt in Karate, and has practiced other disciplines such as yoga and pilates. Linda was honored to receive a 1st place blue ribbon from The Letchworth Arts and Craft Show in the mixed media category in the 2010 show. Blue ribbon

Morya Mason

Resident Artist at Linda Mason Designs. com

Morya Mason was born and raised in Warren, PA where she graduated from Warren Area High School and works at Bollinger Enterprises, Inc., as well as Linda Mason Designs.
Morya began learning to spin wool while in a 4-H spinning club taught by our friend Janet Brown.  Now as an adult, Morya is a member of the Hilltop Spinners and still loves to spin wool whenever she can.  Morya also likes to weave on a loom and creates some of the nice pieces of woven fabric for Linda Mason Designs’ bags and accessories.  Morya has recently taked up knitting and working with polymer clay to create beads and sculptures, some of which have been seen at the Barber National Institute in Erie, PA
Her drawings are also an inspiration for stained glass projects and her sense of color is striking and intuitive.
Morya is an important asset to Linda Mason Designs.  With her wonderful people skills, sales ability, and cashier skills, craft shows run smoothly and efficiently.

Linda and Kim Mason are Morya's mother and father.  Morya's two dogs are Luna and Cherokee.
